IFIP/IEEE International Symposium on Integrated Network Management
17-21 May 2021 // Bordeaux, France
Virtual Conference

CALL FOR WORKSHOP PAPERS

The 17th IFIP/IEEE International Symposium on Integrated Network Management (IM 2021) that will be held 17-21 May 2021 in Bordeaux, France.

Held in odd-numbered years since 1989, IM 2021 will follow the 34 years tradition of NOMS and IM as the primary IEEE Communications Society's forum for technical exchange on the management of information and communication technology focusing on research, development, integration, standards, service provisioning, and user communities.

IM 2021 will feature the following 7 co-located workshops, which will be held immediately prior or after the main Technical Program, to further disseminate fine-tuned research, and that are organized around the main conference theme: Intelligent Management of Open and Highly Programmable Networks.

Prospective authors are invited to check the website of each workshop to know about the specific scope and topics, as well as for the procedures for submitting contributions through JEMS.

6th IFIP/IEEE International Workshop on Analytics for Network and Service Management (AnNet 2021)

Following the success of the previous editions of this workshop (AnNet 2016, AnNet 2017, AnNet 2018, AnNet 2019 and AnNet 2020) the main goal of AnNet is to present research and experience results in the area of data analytics and machine learning for network a nd service management. Approaches such as statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning are promising mechanisms to harness the immense stream of operational data and to improve operations and management of IT systems and networks.

1st International workshop on the “Fully-Flexible Internet Architectures and Protocols for the Next-Generation Internet” (FlexNGIA 2021)

Web site|Submit papers here

FlexNGIA workshop will present contributions on novel architectures and protocols that can overcome the limitations of the Internet by more efficiently harnessing recent technological advances such as network softwarization, virtualization and data plane programmability. It will be a step towards the goal of building a more flexible architecture for the next generation applications: the FlexNGIA Architecture (https://www.flexngia.net). FlexNGIA aims to enable novel network services and management schemes adapted to the requirements of future applications.

2nd International Workshop on Graph-based network Security workshop (GraSec 2021)

Web site|Submit papers here

GraSec workshop will present contributions in graph applications on network security. The continuous apparition of novel complex threats, attack propagation, and command-and-control mechanisms show the limitations of the existing detection techniques, which cannot fight and cope with unknown and increasingly complex behaviors. GraSec aims at federating both graph theory and network security communities for tackling unknown and complex behaviors. It aims at finding network security solutions using graph theory algorithms as well as proposing new graph theory algorithms for network security problems.

4th International Workshop on Intelligent Transportation and Autonomous Vehicles Technologies (ITAVT 2021)

Web site|Submit papers here

he aim of the ITAVT workshop is to bring together engineers, industrial, researchers, and practitioners interested in the advances and applications in the field of intelligent transportation and autonomous technology. Participants are invited to present and discuss recent emerging developments and challenges in such autonomous systems. This workshop focuses on innovative applications, tools and frameworks in all technology areas related to intelligent management of driving and in dynamic networks.

1st IEEE/IFIP International Workshop on Internet of Things Management (manage-IoT 2021)

Web site|Submit papers here

The Internet of Things (IoT) emerges as a major architectural paradigm for achieving machine-to-machine (M2M) communication. Managing IoT-based systems is complex and exciting. Though being an evolution from classical management, managing IoT things is still disruptive as classical assumptions about connectivity, compute resources, or usage patterns do not hold anymore. The manage-IoT workshop focuses on management methodologies for the Internet of Things, including resource, data, service, and security management.

2nd IEEE/IFIP International Workshop on Management for Industry 4.0 (MFI 4.0)

Web site|Submit papers here

The Industry 4.0 revolution presents several management challenges including the transition from ISA-95 to RAMI4.0/IIRA based automation for production automation, the integration of legacy OT with emerging IT technologies, the automation/digitalisation across value networks involving a multitude of stakeholders in complex relationships, and the formation of large to very large System of Systems (SoS). This workshop will focus on a number of core engineering and management issues for Industry 4.0, associated theory, architectures, frameworks, security and experimental experience.
